well it's been a little too long again, and I'm really going to try and keep up with the updating this time.
News
Got a place at Oxford university, so will be moving into St John's college, St. Giles st. in Oxford this October, anyone who lives close please let me know.
Moving out of the (BIG) house we've been living in since I was 9. Having do downsize due to Mum and Mike's divorce, meaning Adam and Sam won't be living with us (every cloud!)
Petra, the new Czech student living with us is crazy and wonderful and I love her to pieces
Just finished January Modules of my A levels...results in january
New dreads:
In other news, Sam is still wonderful, I am still skint, still battling with the smoking thing.
My 18th is on the 5th of May, plans to follow, everyone has to come.

my journal has been negelected of late, and so I'm going to do a proper update now. Not a long rambly one...but a full one.
My life has mostly consisted of
-Completion of university application - I have now applied to Oxford, Kings College London, UCL, LSE, Cardiff and Kent. If I ever have to read my university application form again I will kill myself. I got a good reference though so hopefully that will be ok. I also have to sit a test, the LNAT, in a coupla weeks. A lil nervous about that but because it's apptitude not legal knowledge I should be ok
-Paula's friend had me take an IQ test on the internet. Not completely accurate I have to say, but he was still really embarrasing about it.
-Spending a lot of time with the lovelly Sammy
-Quit smoking (day 5 now and it's going great)
-Spending time with my mum...she's going away with Gordon on Sunday and Mike and Jan are comming here to look after us...can you imagine?! Needless to say I will not be at home much.
-Getting really excited about the fact that I am seeing AFI on Monday!
-Made my frist set of roving dreads this week for Sam, will be putting them in 2moro for him. If anyone wants roving dreads made from scratch I can make the dreads and install them for a relatively small price. Have to take mine out in a few days to get ready for hair modelling a week Monday, but watch this space for cool new hair in the near future.
I think thats everything of any importance whatsoever.
However, before I go, a small request. Next weekend (13th-15th) is anyone free? well not necessarily even free...just having plans that I could join in with? Sammy's away but I don't want to be at home if I can help it because of the Mike situation. I might be able to go to my dads but if anyone is out clubbing or partying and they wouldn't mind me tagging along I'd much prefer that.

Thanks also to everyone who has helped me to get through what has been a difficult half a year...you are all brilliant.
Thanks for those of you who came to sams b-day...it made me very happy...I am still ill and should probably let people know that I won't be touching anything intoxicating (bar the obvious alcohol...in moderation mind...) for a while, legal or otherwise I need to detox...I don't intend to be any less colourful or loud, and most of you probably won't notice a change aside from the fact that I won't necesarily come with a mandatory beer in hand and will refuse anything that is passed to me, it's not rudeness, not trusting you or going soft...there's nothing wrong and I haven't gone anti...I'm just taking a break.
A little confused by today in general...emails, STRANGE ASS PHONE CALLS...results...trying to eat and function like a human being...also trying really hard to get my head round things that are far to strange and mysterious for me to understand...

Take another shot of courage....wonder why the right words never come...you almost certainly wont read this so I guess I can vent, if you do read this, it's how i feel, nothing more, nothing less...
Last night, I said too much and drank too little.
Or maybe I said too little and drank too much.
Either way, I shouldn't have said what I said in quite the way I did. Thats as close to sorry as it's going to come because I'm not sorry, I'm just sorry you feel this way.
I want to understand but it just seems so ridiculous, how can you be so absorbed in whatever it is that you're feeling or thinking that you would just shut us out like this (shut me out like this). It's not like I'm asking for anything huge. Sometimes I think you just can't see the bigger picture. Sometimes I think you can and you just choose not to. Sometimes I just need you to BE HERE FOR ME.
So I swallow again, swallow my pride, swallow my tears, swallow the end of the bottle, and I wonder what it is that you are thinking...

Sometimes you claim you think only of yourself, and that life is easier that way. But I know you know that neither of those statements is the truth. Sometimes you can't look out for your best interests without taking some small risks. In the short term it always seems easier living life from shortcut to shortcut, but you can't just choose the immediatly easiest option forever, you'll end up far worse.
Either because you can't be bothered to have this conversation, or out of spite and malice, you've been silent for 20 hours 43 minutes (I care that much). And you know me, you know that our silence stings more than any words could.
So I'm sorry if I went too far, but sometimes knowing these things in your head is not enough...sometimes you have to hear them for them to be true, hear them from someone who cares about you, someone who loves you...someone you love

I BOUGHT THE SHOES!!!!!!!! Unfortunatly I can't update pictures from work so i can't show you them. They are the Red or Dead Bell in Royal blue and they make me very VERY VERY happy! I also bought some DVDs (Bill Bailey Live, the Libertine, Tetso: The Iron Man and Oldboy) Some Books (Haunted by Chuck Phalaniuk, Iron Council by China Mievielle and a book called Double Vision by someone I can't remember) and some stuffs from Lush. Today I'm buying dinner, hopefully some underwear to match my shoes (perhaps a bag as well) and also looking at the sale in schuh, as well as a trip to cyberdog for Sammy and hopefully being able to find somewhere that stocks 'so long scarecrow' by scarling. In my lunchbreak I'm looking for nail polish that matches my shoes and some new make-up.

The bruise, origionally a raised area which caused me a huge amounts of pain, has not turned into a painless, but technicolour mark outlining both top and bottom row of teeth.
The office line today seems to be 'thats a nasty bruise...it looks just like a bite...how did you get that?'

ho hum, feeling a bit better now, still relatively bored.
Thankies to everyone who came to the picnic on Thursday, it was excellent if a little hurredly planned. Imprompeau Zoey kidnap and poi is always good for an evening of entertainment...also rock on muntafara for having the forsight to bring RED STRIPE!!! We salute you.
Friday was pretty cool, went to Paulas for a while, chilled out a bit, Naz popped over then we all traipsed off, Paula to Emma's, Naz home and me and daddy to my house.
Friday night was spent mainly watching crap tv, then early Saturday morning...THUNDERSTORM!!! I think it must have been fairly localised, because Sammy didn't get one in London but it was terrific! The lightning lit up the whole street like a huge strobe, and you could see forks! I love Lightning storms, as does Tyler, so we watched from my bay window and went like this... :D
Saturday was spent having a lie in and then going to see 'over the hedge' in Crawley...highly reccommended film guys, it makes me laugh...I have also devised a new drinking game to play when it comes out on DVD...tehehehehehehe. Then Pizza Hut, then home with Beer, then my mother comming home pissed as a fart with *quiet voice* Bite marks and a hickie tehehehehehehehehhehe this made us giggle muchly. Then Sam (fat step-brother not love of my life) kicked off in some major way and Tyler almost knocked him out...which made me very happy. Oh yeah, Mike was home for the weekend too...and kept invading my privacy and turning up in my bedroom and phoning Jan while me and Ty were in the room and walking around the house in his pants like he still living there :S I was angry.
Sunday Naz came round.

Now Tyler is at his nans, I am back in London, and I wish it was still the weekend :'( Monday's make me very unhappy. It's good to be at home with Sammy, but it would be much much better if the three of us could have spent some proper time together...

Answer: You're all comming to the Old Eagle in Canden Town (near Camden Road Station) to celebrate the fact that Tyler's in London and he doesn't have time to see everyone individually. No excuses (unless you don't know Tyler or live somewhere super far away or have a contagious disease or someone chews your legs off...so I guess SOME excuses...but not many, and only good ones)
Please let me know asap if you're thinking of comming and if so whether you will need an escort to find the pub and if so where can I send a minion to meet you? It would be quite useful to have a rough idea of numbers so that if there's too many I can think about relocation (the Eagle's not huge and I gather it gets quite busy with normal customers).

Has anyone seen the film 'Soilent Green'? (goths and geeks: this has no connection to the Roman Dierge poem found in issue 2 of Lennore 'Soylent Green, the cannibal with no arms and legs).
It makes me want to reduce my carbon emmissions when the weather is like this...and also remember to never eat strange squares of coloured material given to me by the government.
